Senior Associate, Corporate Development

This role is in Corporate Development, focusing on financial and strategic analysis of potential M&A transactions, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships. Responsibilities include financial modeling, deal structuring, due diligence, and cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate has strong financial modeling skills, prior experience in investment banking or corporate development, and knowledge of financial accounting and valuation concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Creating and maintaining financial models for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and partnerships
  2. Structuring analyses efficiently to ensure accurate conclusions with an economy of time and effort
  3. Conducting detailed research and strategic analysis on industries and companies
  4. Working collaboratively across a cross-functional project or deal team to conduct diligence, review transaction documents, or coordinate inputs for financial modeling
  5. Working with external counterparties (including companies and external financial, consulting and/or legal advisors)

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis
  • At least 1 year of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, hedge funds, transaction valuation, finance, or a combination

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, hedge funds, transaction valuation, finance, or a combination
  • 2+ years of experience in financial technology, commercial banking, consumer finance, or a combination
  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis
  • 1+ year of experience with financial systems (Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ and S&P Capital IQ Pro, or similar platform)
