Senior Associate, In-store - Strategy & Operations

DoorDash DoorDash · Consumer · New York, NY · 636 In-Store S&O

This role is for a Senior Associate, Strategy & Operations focused on the end-to-end commercialization of new add-on products for DoorDash's In-Store business. It involves managing product launches from MVP testing to global GTM, coordinating cross-functional teams, conducting market and competitive research, and using data to drive decisions. The role requires strong project management, analytical, and communication skills in a B2B SaaS environment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own the end-to-end commercialization of new add-on products globally. Manage everything from MVP definition and legal terms to product naming, FAQs, sales pitching, and pricing & packaging.
  2. Act as the strategic "train conductor" across Product, Sales, Marketing, Product, Sales, and Legal. Bring people together, gather requirements, manage strict timelines, and drive complex initiatives forward without direct authority. You will work closely with leadership, leveraging your analytical skills to identify challenges, develop solutions, and ensure successful project execution in line with our growth objectives. You will establish clear metrics for success and designate project components to the appropriate cross-functional DRIs (Directly Responsible Individuals). You will be responsible for removing or escalating roadblocks to ensure project timelines are achieved.
  3. Size market opportunities and conduct deep competitive research for the region, diving into specific customer segments to understand what is working and analyzing closed-lost deals to understand what isn't. Ensure global product strategies account for local nuances.
  4. Dive deep into our data to uncover hidden trends, analyze product adoption, and monitor competitive dynamics. You will be responsible for developing dashboards, KPIs, and reports that translate complex data into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations.
  5. Translate highly ambiguous project scopes into structured, actionable plans. Communicate updates, roadblocks, and strategic recommendations clearly to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
