This role focuses on managing and optimizing digital performance marketing campaigns for Capital One's U.S. Card acquisition channels, driving conversions through platforms like Google Ads. It involves campaign execution, testing, ad operations, and cross-functional coordination.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop and execute campaign testing, including ad creative, landing page, audience, and channel expansion testing.
  2. Manage outbound performance marketing campaigns, from planning and execution to analysis and reporting, collaborating with business analysts.
  3. Oversee end-to-end ad operations to launch campaigns error-free, identify opportunities for performance optimization, and implement process improvements to streamline launch procedures.
  4. Coordinate across internal teams, including Legal, Compliance, Brand Marketing, Customer Experience, Analytics, Data, and Technology, to execute Display ad strategies end-to-end.
  5. Possess a solid understanding of digital performance marketing, conversion funnel optimization, and online customer acquisition.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or Military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in email or display ad marketing
  • At least 2 years of experience planning and implementing digital marketing strategies utilizing Google or other inbox servicing ad platforms
  • At least 2 years of experience analyzing and evaluating campaign performance

Nice to have

  • At least 2 years of experience in paid media & performance marketing, managing high volume accounts and large media budgets
  • At least 2 years of experience in D2C marketing
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management
  • At least 1 year of experience in social media or search engine marketing
  • Prior financial industry or media agency experience
