Senior Associate Sales Specialist, Emerging Technologies - Construction

This role focuses on identifying and driving sales opportunities for emerging technologies within the construction sector, collaborating with account executives and providing product expertise. It involves developing selling strategies, positioning products, forecasting, performing basic customizations, and leading value discussions.

What you'd actually do

  1. Independently identify and drive Emerging Solutions sales opportunities, including new sales, upsell, and cross-sell.
  2. Collaborate with AEs and ARs in co-selling motions to drive customer growth within existing accounts.
  3. Provide in-depth product-specific expertise within assigned product solution groups (e.g., Fusion, Water, Construction).
  4. Develop and implement selling strategies to grow new revenue and scale Emerging Solutions adoption.
  5. Position Emerging Solutions as market-leading, emphasizing Autodesk’s unique business value.

Skills

Required

  • 1-3 years of experience selling in a SaaS or Cloud technology selling environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently identify and drive sales opportunities.
  • Proven product expertise, including the ability to discuss features, use cases, and customizations.
  • Experience in strategic sales planning and execution.
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to perform basic product customizations.
  • Effective communication, storytelling, and persuasion skills.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams and partners.
  • Negotiation skills, with experience supporting or leading customer negotiations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
