This role is for a Senior Associate, Strategic Projects (Marketplace Lead) to support M&A activities for Uber's EMEA Delivery business. The focus is on programme management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless integration of acquired companies into Uber's tech stack and operations. It requires strong stakeholder management, business acumen, and the ability to define business requirements for tech features. The role does not involve direct AI/ML development or research.

What you'd actually do

  1. Overall migration strategy & plan for Marketplace Tech and Operations migration, and through both Uber and acquired companies business (e.g. define Tech requirements for adoptable acquired companies features to be built on Uber Tech stack, plan how to replicate acquired companies Marketplace set-up on Uber existing features, feature parity set, etc.).
  2. Outlining the approach, key dependencies, and success metrics for a seamless transition.
  3. Ensure smooth Marketplace outcomes for the acquired businesses in the interim state, in partnership with their teams and as business practices adjust to Uber standards
  4. Manage towards a successful end-state: maintain the acquired businesses' Marketplace outcomes to avoid P&L and Operational headwinds
  5. Programme management of the relevant domain’s workstreams, including upward communication to EMEA LT and Global
