This role is a technical sales professional focused on introducing, validating, and scaling emerging technologies within Autodesk's customer base. It involves pipeline creation, opportunity qualification, adoption readiness, and partner enablement, operating at the intersection of innovation and scale. The specialist will advise customers, deliver demonstrations, support pilot engagements, and mitigate technical and adoption risks.

What you'd actually do

  1. Independently lead standard discovery and qualification conversations.
  2. Deliver tailored demonstrations aligned to customer readiness and defined value hypotheses.
  3. Support pilot engagements with clearly defined success criteria and documented outcomes.
  4. Contribute technical inputs to business cases, proposals, and opportunity documentation.
  5. Support onboarding and enablement of partners and SP1 level peers.

Skills

Required

  • 2–4 years of experience in technical sales, sales engineering, solutions consulting, customer success, or a related technical customer facing role.
  • Experience leading customer discovery conversations and delivering technical demonstrations.
  • Ability to support pilots, proof points, or validation activities for new or emerging solutions.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer value.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams and partners in a hybrid go to market model.
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities with minimal supervision.

Nice to have

  • Experience working with Emerging Technologies, early stage products, or innovation focused solutions.
  • Background in SaaS, cloud, platform, or subscription based technology environments.
  • Familiarity with technical validation frameworks, adoption readiness assessments, or pilot success criteria.
  • Experience supporting partner enablement or partner led technical engagements.
  • Exposure to contributing technical inputs into commercial proposals or business cases.
  • Prior experience working cross functionally with Product or Engineering teams.
