This role is for a Senior Associate Technical Specialist focused on driving the adoption and expansion of Autodesk's core and mature solutions (Plant 3D, Revit MEP) within a technical sales capacity. The position emphasizes scale, prioritization, and enablement, requiring the individual to lead customer discovery, deliver tailored product demonstrations, identify risks, and support commercial and enablement efforts. The role requires industry experience in Plant Design and technical sales/solutions consulting, with a focus on translating technical concepts into customer value and managing multiple opportunities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Independently lead standard customer discovery sessions and capture actionable requirements
  2. Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to common customer workflows and value drivers
  3. Identify risks such as integration constraints or data dependencies and escalate as appropriate
  4. Contribute technical inputs to proposals and expansion discussions
  5. Support onboarding and enablement of peers and partners through reusable assets and demo materials

Skills

Required

  • Industry experience in Plant Design, P&ID, Catalog customisation, Specification creation
  • 2–4 years of experience in a technical sales, sales engineering, solutions consulting, or customer-facing technical role
  • Working knowledge of software or technology solutions in Plant3D and Revit MEP
  • Experience conducting structured customer discovery and delivering product demonstrations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer value
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent opportunities with effective prioritisation

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting channel or partner led sales motions
  • Familiarity with Autodesk solutions, workflows, or adjacent design, engineering, or construction domains
  • Experience contributing to proposals, renewals, or expansion conversations
