This role is for a Senior Associate in Travel Product Marketing at Capital One, focusing on business cards and payments. The primary responsibility is to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies to drive awareness and consideration for card products, acting as an SME and partnering with various teams. Key tasks include developing go-to-market plans, positioning, messaging, testing, launching new products/features, and analyzing campaign performance. The role requires strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and customer-centric skills.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop insight-driven marketing strategies inclusive of positioning, GTM strategy recommendations, testing opportunities and clear timelines.
  2. Partner with the Insights team to deeply understand the target audience, validate product positioning and messaging, and act as the voice of the customer to the organization at large.
  3. Manage creative development (with internal creative teams or agency partners) to ensure marketing is on-brand, high quality, aligned to our strategic intent and delivered on schedule.
  4. Assess performance results of marketing campaigns and turn insights into actionable marketing plans
  5. Understand how competitors are evolving their product and messaging strategies, and build strategies that position us for success in the market.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing or marketing strategy experience
