Senior Audio/Visual Designer responsible for the end-to-end design, engineering, and delivery of complex audio and video systems for Disney attractions, rides, and park-wide experiences. This role involves translating creative concepts into technical specifications, managing system architecture, overseeing installation and commissioning, and ensuring compliance with standards and safety requirements.

What you'd actually do

  1. Design end‑to‑end audio and video systems for attractions, ride systems, and resort‑wide applications—from concept definition through final commissioning
  2. Partner closely with creative, media, acoustics, controls, ride, and facilities teams to ensure design intent is accurately captured and executed
  3. Lead system architecture, equipment selection, infrastructure sizing, and interface definition for complex A/V systems
  4. Produce, review, and approve design drawings, layouts, specifications, and test plans for show electronic systems
  5. Guide vendors through the design and fabrication process; resolve technical issues and manage system interfaces

  • On‑board or ride‑based audio systems design and commissioning experience
  • Industry certifications (QSC, Audinate, Avixa, Cisco, BICSI)
  • Ability to work independently while incorporating team input and adapting to evolving creative requirements
  • Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, or a related field
