This role focuses on conducting business analysis and implementing automation solutions within a commercial and investment banking operations context. The associate will engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate process improvements into actionable automation strategies, including traditional coding, low-code, and AI-assisted solutions. Key responsibilities involve end-to-end automation delivery, defining metrics, partnering with technology teams, and ensuring documentation and governance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Engage stakeholders and analytics partners to support automation delivery end-to-end, including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement
  2. Contribute to the operational automation strategy and define metrics such as objectives and key results, key performance indicators, and benefits tracking
  3. Partner with technology teams to create or enable infrastructure that supports both traditional coding and low-code automation capabilities
  4. Select an appropriate end-to-end automation approach (for example, workflow automation, robotic process automation, decisioning, intelligent document processing, or AI-assisted triage) and translate requirements into a feasible delivery plan
  5. Define outcomes and measurement (for example, capacity creation, risk reduction, cycle-time reduction, or error-rate reduction) and drive delivery to realize benefits
