This role focuses on the development, implementation, and support of machine control systems, including PLC and Safety PLC, Electrical systems, SCADA, and device integration within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. The Senior Automation Engineer will develop design specifications, commission and validate software, troubleshoot complex equipment, and work within cross-functional teams to improve quality and product delivery. The role requires experience in automation disciplines and adherence to medical device standards for documentation and validation.

What you'd actually do

  1. Development and technical support for machine control systems across the entire range of automation disciplines, including PLC and Safety PLC systems, Electrical systems, SCADA and complex device integration
  2. Develop Functional and Detailed Design Specifications from User Requirement Specifications
  3. Develop high quality PLC and SCADA solutions from Functional and Detailed Design Specification
  4. Commission and Validate PLC and control software as part of a highly automated, high volume 24/7 regulated production environment
  5. Fault-find complex automation equipment
