Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Senior Aviation Maintenance Engineer to support developmental flight testing of revolutionary products. The role involves aircraft mechanical assessment, maintenance coordination, flight execution, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have an A&P license, experience with airframe and power plant maintenance, and missile/rocket system development. This is an engineering role focused on the physical maintenance and readiness of aviation systems, not directly involved in AI/ML model development or deployment.

What you'd actually do

  1. Assist with many aspects of aircraft fabrication, assembly, and operation including structural fabrication, mechanical integration (flight control surfaces, propulsion, etc.), composites fabrication, and avionics build/integration/test.
  2. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircraft and subsystems including landing gear, fuel system, flight control, and propulsion.
  3. Perform common airframe construction techniques such as utilizing rivets, mechanical fasteners, nut plates, etc.
  4. Complete aircraft and equipment documentation (maintenance manuals, Check list, Flight logs etc.).
  5. Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain site support equipment.
