This role is a Senior Azure SAP Specialist focused on selling SAP workloads on Azure to Small Medium Enterprises and Corporate clients. The role involves leading sales efforts, building executive relationships, and driving digital transformation through Azure cloud services for SAP. It requires deep technical and business expertise in SAP on Azure, with a focus on achieving sales and consumption targets.

What you'd actually do

  1. You will lead business level dialogue with customers around the SAP workloads, including Business transformation for enterprise computing and digital transformation, creating “buy-in” vision with key CxO decision makers by building executive relationships to generate excitement around Microsoft solutions’ value to influence long-term strategic direction around SAP workloads
  2. Engage and jointly sell with SAP counterparts, Partners and Priority ISVs to maximize business results by bringing together Microsoft and Partner solutions to deliver against customer business outcomes leveraging assets across Microsoft, SAP Architects, Product Teams and Engineering. You will brief Microsoft Executives around complex sales opportunities, including competitive strategies and close plans to engage customers with joint value positioning
  3. You will influence the Microsoft Azure SAP GTM strategies by providing feedback to the leadership team, marketing, and engineering on current and future product requirements and sales blockers. You will be recognized for sharing, learning and driving work that results in business impact for customers, partners and Microsoft.   4. You will lead multi-million-dollar deals, requiring orchestration of virtual teams composed of industry, solution, technical, licensing & legal team members as well as SI and ISV partners.
  5. Drive Sales Excellence: Exceed sales / cloud consumption quota by driving pipeline management and accurate forecasting.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 9+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • At least 3+ years of deep expertise on SAP NetWeaver platform
  • Fluency in Japanese language

Nice to have

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration (e.g., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 8+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 10+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience OR 11+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.
  • 6+ years of solution or services sales experience
  • 7+ years’ experience and expertise selling to C-Suite and executive business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of SAP on Azure to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
