Senior Board Test Engineer

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Board Test Engineer to develop manufacturing GPU/CPU test solutions for Data Center products. This role involves HW and SW expertise to explore test coverage and automation, contributing to the development of test strategies, fixtures, equipment, and diagnostic software. The engineer will also support test content development in Python, collaborate with various teams, investigate new test technologies, contribute to automated Diag generation, and provide feedback on DFT. Debugging complex hardware and software issues at manufacturing locations is also a key responsibility.

What you'd actually do

  1. Define manufacturing test solutions that translate into methodologies and processes applicable across Board and System product segments.
  2. Develop test strategies for new product features including identification, specification, design and qualification of test fixtures, test equipment and diagnostic software.
  3. Support the development of test content and solutions in Python.
  4. Collaborate with different teams to develop GPU and CPU testing coverage, including HW Design, Quality, Software Development
  5. Investigate and introduce new manufacturing test technology and methodology to improve production efficiency.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience with post-silicon validation experience in Board or System products.
  • Experience working with manufacturing test programs at platform level.
  • Background with Python programming and bash scripting.
  • Experience working with different board or system level products.
  • Solid Knowledge of IPMI, PCIE, BMC, and Thermal Solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
