Execute full-cycle UAT (SFDC CPQ → DBAR → NetSuite → Revenue Subledger) for system enhancements, new features, and commercialization initiatives.

Translate Business Requirements (BRDs) into detailed user stories, test scripts (with pass/fail criteria), and execution timelines.

Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, trace lineage, and identify anomalies in billing and revenue recognition

Document and track defects in JIRA, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and coordinate with Engineering for timely resolutions.

Ensure all testing documentation meets Internal Audit standards; update Risk & Control Matrices (RCM) and SOX flowcharts as processes change.

Skills

Required

8+ years of experience in Revenue/Business Operations, Financial Systems testing, or Consulting.
Strong SQL proficiency (complex queries/data validation).
Hands-on experience with NetSuite (preferred), Salesforce, and JIRA
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets (Pivot tables, XLOOKUP, complex reconciliations)
Deep understanding of Order-to-Cash processes, usage-based billing, and ASC 606 principles.
Self-motivated leader capable of driving work independently in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
This role requires working in PST time zone, with US-based teams for deployments and month-end activities.

We're looking for a self-driven Senior Business Analyst to join Databricks' OTR Systems Transformation team. You'll take end-to-end ownership of quality, documentation, and operational health across our Order-to-Revenue (OTR) tech stack — operating with limited direction and building structure from ambiguity from day one. You'll be a partner across Deals Desk, Revenue Assurance, RevOps, Billing, Revenue, FP&A, and Finance leadership — influencing decisions through data-backed analysis and driving cross-functional alignment within the OTR domain.

The impact you will have:

Own end-to-end UAT lifecycle: planning, test design, execution, defect management, RCA, and audit-ready signoffs
Coordinate parallel test streams across Business, IT, and Engineering with clear accountability and outcomes
Translate BRDs/BIDs into user stories and test scenarios; maintain SOX-compliant documentation and traceability
Lead retrospectives and drive continuous improvement actions
Define enablement standards (SOPs, training) and evolve toward automated testing frameworks
Lead senior stakeholder forums and own executive communications on status, risks, and actions
Build and maintain OTR systems flow documentation; partner with IT/Engineering and leverage AI to keep it current
Own production health and month-end close readiness; drive RCA and reduce recurring issues
Lead backlog prioritization and tech debt management using data-driven impact analysis
Support data migrations and contribute to data quality and metadata standards; expand scope as the function scales

What we look for:

6–8+ years in Revenue/Business Ops, Financial Systems, or Consulting with strong OTR (Order-to-Cash) expertise
Hands-on with Salesforce CPQ and ERP systems (NetSuite/SAP preferred)
Strong knowledge of ASC 606, revenue recognition, and usage/consumption-based billing
Deep understanding of OTR system integrations, data flows, and transformation logic
Proven ownership of full UAT lifecycle in financial/OTR systems
Strong analytical skills; comfortable using data tools (SQL a plus) and AI for validation and insights
Experience drafting BRDs/BIDs and building process/system flow documentation; data migration validation is a plus
Self-driven, thrives in ambiguity, and effectively influences senior stakeholders with data-backed communication
Leverages AI tools to scale output; maintains high quality standards and mentors junior team members
Flexible to work IST with overlap into PST as required
