Senior Business Analyst

This role focuses on identifying business challenges and opportunities within financial products, performing analysis and modeling for pricing strategies, supporting marketing efforts, and improving credit performance by developing risk models and testing hypotheses. It involves problem framing, hypothesis testing, solution development, and monitoring plans.

What you'd actually do

  1. Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement and solve for them using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
  2. Perform modeling and analytics to assist new product and pricing strategies for various lending products.
  3. Support direct-to-consumer marketing efforts for select products, and strategic intent for products distributed through the retail channel.
  4. Build targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences, as well as breakthrough technology and concepts designed to deliver on new go-to-market strategies.
  5. Support step-change improvements in credit performance by connecting drivers of future consumer credit trends to historical behavior, creating risk models, and testing hypotheses using rigorous monitoring and analysis.

Skills

Required

  • bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field
  • 2 years of experience performing analysis
  • master's or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields
