Senior Business Banker role focused on driving growth through new deposits, business loans, and treasury management services by building and maintaining client relationships with businesses in the $2mm-$20mm space. Responsibilities include prospecting, business development, closing new opportunities, and deepening relationships with existing clients.

What you'd actually do

  1. Proactively generates new business by prospecting for deposits, lending, treasury management, merchant services and other banking solutions.
  2. Meet with prospects to bring in new relationships, develop strong COI relationships in your market, and close new business opportunities to grow the bank’s client base and revenue.
  3. Build and maintain a robust network of centers of influence (COI’s), including CPA’s, attorneys, commercial real estate agents, and other professionals, to drive referrals and business growth.
  4. Retain and manage clients within your portfolio, with a focus on deepening relationships and cross selling additional products and services to meet client needs.
  5. Collaborate with the Business Banking Client Service team to deliver exceptional service and ensure a seamless banking experience for all clients.

Required

  • Proven experience in business development, with a strong track record of generating and closing new business through prospecting.
  • Established network of centers of influence and demonstrated ability to grow this network through active engagement and networking events.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to build trust with prospects, clients, and professional partners.
  • Expertise in deposit acquisition, treasury management, credit solutions, and other banking products.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • At least 2 years of Business Banking experience
