This role is for a Senior Business Development Director in the digital advertising space. The primary responsibilities involve developing business strategy, managing relationships with Holding Companies, and working cross-functionally to cultivate accounts and negotiate deals. The role also contributes to product road map discussions based on client needs. The company operates a large-scale platform with significant data processing challenges, but this role is focused on business development and sales, not AI/ML development.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop a vision and strategy for TTD’s business within the Business Development team.
  2. Oversee and build upon relationships with senior leadership at Holding Companies.
  3. Work cross-functionally with global client services and trading teams to cultivate accounts.
  4. Participate in product road map build out discussions based on client needs with senior leadership, product, and engineering.
  5. Take the lead in structuring and negotiating large client spend endeavors and JBPs.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 15-20+ years of experience in digital advertising in outbound sales
  • Experience working with media agencies and brands
  • Experience building longstanding, consultative client relationships
  • Strong quantitative skills
  • Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
  • Strong communication skills
  • High EQ
  • Proven ability to manage within a matrix environment

Nice to have

  • masters preferred
  • preferably in programmatic
  • Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles preferred.
