About the Role
Uber for Business is growing exponentially, and we are looking for a seasoned Senior Business Development Representative to drive our business forward at this exciting time. You’ll work closely with your Manager, other BDRs, Account Executives and Sales Managers to increase Uber for Business in the UK.
As a BDR, you will be sourcing new ways for U4B to interact with clients and driving deep partnerships. We need highly motivated self-starters, who thrive on challenges and relish a team environment of natural problem solvers. Our suite of products has multiplied in recent years, so we’re looking for an all rounder who has the drive to sell holistically across an organisation with passion, poise and energy.
As a Mid-Market Business Development Representative, you will be instrumental in customer acquisition for Uber for Business within the UKI market.
What You'll Do
- Be responsible for generating revenue pipeline through outbound prospecting (cold calls/emails).
- Identify new business opportunities, prospect the right decision makers within a business.
- Meet and exceed all assigned activity and pipeline creation targets.
- Bring an innovative approach to prospecting and acquisition, with a customer oriented mindset.
- Work with the Account Executives and Sales Managers within your region to develop and iterate on a prioritisation model, and internal tools and prospecting processes.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email, video conferencing and in-person meetings.
What You'll Need
- 24+ months of B2B SDR/BDR experience is highly preferred.
- Experience of prospecting into large accounts.
- Ability to build and manage email sequences.
- A history of consistently exceeding KPIs and activity targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to obtain the necessary information from the prospect, while also ensuring a mutually beneficial conversation.
- Creative thinking about how to set appointments.
- Driven and excited about a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent organisation, project management and time management skills, and ability to take initiative.
- Hunter mentality and proven track record of outbound success across, email, cold calling, social selling and video prospecting.
- Proficiency with sales tools including Salesforce CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, Groove, and Salesforce.
- Experience supporting multiple Account Executives in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Structured and good time management is critical
- A self-starter mindset with a passion for learning and exceeding goals.
