This role is for a Senior Business Manager within Microsoft Business Operations (MBO), focusing on strategic planning, business performance, Rhythm of Business (ROB), and operational/financial excellence for a global team. The role requires influencing leadership, driving initiatives, and possessing strong business, process, and financial acumen. Key responsibilities include strategic planning, ROB design, program management, performance management, financial planning, data analysis, executive communication, stakeholder management, change management, process design, and enabling AI transformation.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 6+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.

  • Program and portfolio management (cross-functional initiatives)

  • Experience operating in a Chief of Staff, Business Manager, or Strategy role supporting senior executives in a global, matrixed organization
  • Experience designing and leading Rhythm of Business (ROB) frameworks at scale
  • Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives with measurable business impact
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage financial planning processes including budget development, headcount planning, and forecasting, with clear linkage to strategic priorities
