Senior Business Manager

This role supports the CEO office for Microsoft AI, specifically for the Microsoft Copilot team. The Business Manager will manage procurement, vendor selection, contract negotiation, headcount, organizational operations, financial planning, budget management, and business operations to enable leaders to focus on building products.

What you'd actually do

  1. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including defining business requirements and collaborating with the sourcing team on vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order processing
  2. Partner with HR, finance, and hiring managers to manage headcount and organizational changes, including new hires, backfills, and attrition, ensuring alignment with approved budgets
  3. Own and manage the organization's budget planning and forecasting processes, partnering with finance to ensure accuracy and alignment with business goals
  4. Serve as a resourceful problem-solver across diverse business functions, removing obstacles and handling day-to-day operational issues on behalf of the Copilot team

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 3+ years experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles OR equivalent experience
