Senior Business Manager

This role is a Senior Business Manager supporting the VP of Total Rewards & Central Services. The primary focus is on strategic planning, execution, communication, project management, and collaboration within the Employee Experience division. The role involves partnering with executive management to identify business issues, perform analyses, recommend solutions, and lead the integration of priority projects. It also includes collaborating with the Compliance and Ethics team to refine policies. While the company is in the healthcare sector and may use AI tools, this specific role is not directly involved in building or researching AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Consult and partner with executive management to identify key business issues, outline strategic alternatives, and recommend effective solutions to align with Premera's strategic goals.
  2. Create, leverage, align, and integrate communication strategies and collateral.
  3. Lead the integration of priority projects and programs by developing project team objectives, managing risk, and ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and outcomes.
  4. Partner with the Compliance and Ethics team to refine policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with evolving business needs.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field or four years of work experience.
  • Eight years of experience in developing, implementing, training, and supporting new or existing strategic programs and processes.
  • Eight years of program, project, or change management experience (or a combination of the three).

Nice to have

  • Experience in human resources or a similar field is preferred.
