Senior Business Manager, Fraud Operations Strategy

This role leads a team of data scientists and risk professionals focused on protecting the payment network by analyzing transaction data to develop and optimize fraud strategies and predictive models. It involves team leadership, advanced data analysis, strategy and model development, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence in fraud detection.

What you'd actually do

  1. Direct, mentor, and develop a team of eight (8) data analytics and data science professionals, primarily consisting of Principal Fraud Risk Specialists
  2. Oversee the deep-dive analysis of transaction-level data, evaluating over 150 unique data elements and their configurations to identify anomalies, patterns, and emerging fraud vectors
  3. Drive the creation, testing, and deployment of robust fraud strategies and predictive fraud models to proactively block fraudulent transactions while minimizing false positives
  4. Serve as a key liaison across both Internal & External entities to align fraud prevention efforts with broader corporate security and network protection goals
  5. Continuously refine data extraction, querying, and modeling methodologies to improve the speed and accuracy of fraud detection across the network
