This role is a Senior Business Strategy Manager within Microsoft's Cloud Supply Chain organization, focusing on enabling hardware infrastructure for cloud and AI growth. The role involves analyzing supply chain strategies, leading cross-functional teams on strategic projects, and ensuring supply chain resiliency. It is not directly involved in building or researching AI models but supports the infrastructure that enables AI capabilities at scale.

What you'd actually do

  1. Conduct analysis, synthesize findings, develop recommendations to drive supply chain strategies.
  2. Topics ranging from industry intelligence and benchmarking, mid to long-term operations/supply chain optimization, to firefighting and resolving short-term supply chain and sourcing challenges.
  3. Lead cross-functional teams to drive implementation of strategic projects: from defining plan, monitoring progress, tracking KPI to delivering results and institutionalizing.
  4. Partner with Supply Chain, Sourcing and Engineering teams to ensure supply chain resiliency is built-in at product launch, with diversified supply base and geography.
  5. Lead communications with exec and cross-functional stakeholders to drive alignment, ensure execution and report progress.

Skills

Required

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 3+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Liberal Arts, Computer Science, or related field AND 4+ years marketing, strategy, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experience
  • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements

Nice to have

  • 4+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in high-tech supply chain or sourcing.
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, supply chain strategy, or corporate strategy.
  • Experience in leading strategy projects involving cross-functional teams.
  • MBA or Master’s degree in Supply Chain is a plus.
  • Experience in owning exec-level communications.
  • Demonstrated capability in driving analysis, problem-solving, and strategic thinking.
  • Ability to influence and build lasting relationships.
