Senior Business Systems Analyst/business Systems Analyst (hotel Systems/opera) (contract End at Sep 2027)

This role focuses on understanding business requirements and delivering technical solutions within the hotel industry, specifically with Opera systems. Responsibilities include end-to-end system implementation, support, training, documentation, testing, and ensuring compliance with company and corporate controls. The role acts as a Level 2 application support subject matter expert and involves monitoring system performance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Understand business requirements and deliver effective technical solutions under Hotel industry
  2. Participate in end-to-end design, implementation and sustainment
  3. Provide system training to team members and users of various Lines of Business
  4. Prepare and update system documentation, operation guides and training materials and to provide training to business partners
  5. Develop test case and strategy to ensure that all the necessary testing such as unit, functional, performance, stress, acceptance test are well-covered

Skills

Required

  • at least 6 - 10 years of proven experience in implementation and support in any IT system
  • Hands on experience in Windows and Linux operating environments
  • Good analytical, problem solving and organizing skills
  • Quick learner with good analytical and troubleshooting skills and able to work under pressure
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance priorities
  • Demonstrate as a good team player and can work on own initiative with good attention to details
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

  • experience in Opera is add advantageous
  • Knowledge in Oracle and MySQL is preferred
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred
