Senior/cell Leader (supply Chain)

This role is for a Senior/Cell Leader in Supply Chain at Pratt & Whitney, an RTX business. The position is based in Singapore and focuses on leading a team to meet quality and on-time delivery targets for parts sourcing and kitting. Responsibilities include driving root cause analysis, team development through training, ensuring compliance with standards (CORE, EH&S, Ethics), interfacing with other business functions, developing KPIs, managing material flow, ensuring kit assembly accuracy, and leading kitting transformation. The role requires a degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience, strong MS Office skills, and excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing and knowledge of aircraft engine workshop practices.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead the team to meet targets and goals for quality and on-time delivery including oversee the activities of parts sourcing and kitting. Drive root cause analysis when targets are not met
  2. Lead and supervise team members to develop them towards a self-directed and multi-skilled workforce through planned skills training
  3. Ensure compliance of standards; drive CORE, EH&S and Ethics culture in the team. Assume roles in EH&S sub-committees
  4. Interface with various business functions such as Operations, Engineering, Quality, Customer Support, Finance and HR to achieve operational goals and company’s objectives
  5. Develop performance indicators (KPIs) for the team to track team performance

Skills

Required

  • Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or any other related field with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
  • Good team player and interpersonal skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed. Able to learn quickly with a strong ability to drive and deliver results

Nice to have

  • Relevant experience in Aerospace or Manufacturing
  • Relevant aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills with strong leadership and business acumen
  • Able to work with all levels of management and in a fast-paced, matrix reporting organization
