Senior Circuit Methodology Engineer

This role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining circuit design and verification flows that run on large-scale compute and GPU farms. It involves managing and optimizing farm health, throughput, utilization, and cost-effectiveness, as well as providing user support and documentation. The role requires strong programming skills (Python, Perl) and experience with job schedulers and circuit design tools.

What you'd actually do

  1. design, develop, and maintain circuit design and verification flows that run on large‑scale compute and GPU farms located across geographies through various job schedulers.
  2. Proactively monitor farm health and job behavior, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve throughput, utilization, and turnaround time.
  3. Bring up and release new compute and GPU infrastructure to be used by the team.
  4. Evaluate and qualify new compute and GPU resources, schedulers, and related EDA infrastructure components.
  5. Build automation and tooling to streamline flow setup, job submission, resource allocation, logging, and reporting.

Skills

Required

  • BSEE, BSCE or equivalent experience
  • Python
  • Perl
  • Cadence/Synopsys based system (Virtuoso/Custom Compiler)
