Senior Clinical Scientist - Nuclear Medicine

This role focuses on clinical research and development within GE Healthcare's MIM Software business, specifically in Nuclear Medicine. The Senior Clinical Scientist will support the development of imaging products, explore clinical needs with external collaborators, and generate clinical evidence. The role involves working closely with physicians, scientists, and key opinion leaders to understand the field and propose research activities. It also includes supporting academic and clinical partners in research and seeking out new academic collaborations.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform activities supporting the clinical research and development of imaging products/drug products/diagnostics.
  2. Closely connect with MIM product teams, explore unmet clinical and technical needs with external collaborators, identify new research needs and generate clinical evidence.
  3. Work with physicians, scientists and key opinion leaders in the clinical and academic setting to gain/maintain deep understanding of the field of Nuclear Medicine and innovation needs.
  4. Propose and prioritize collaborative research and scientific activities in-support of strategic initiatives.
  5. Support collaborative academic and clinical partners in clinical research with emphasis on assigned key academic and clinical sites in the field of Nuclear Medicine.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Proficient programming and/or algorithmic development experience
  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • strong communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with clinical professionals
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams

Nice to have

  • Masters degree and/or PhD
  • Clinical domain expertise with Nuclear Medicine research and study designs in a clinical, academic, or industrial setting
  • Experience and familiarity with clinical and anatomical knowledge bases
  • Experience and familiarity with clinical environments and academic and/or research collaborations
  • Established project management skills
