This role is for a Senior Commercial Account Executive at Zendesk, focusing on B2B sales, particularly with AI sales experience. The primary responsibilities include driving revenue growth by acquiring new customers, cross-selling to existing ones, managing customer relationships, and leading complex sales cycles. What you'd actually do

  1. Directly drive top-line revenue growth by acquiring new customers and developing strategies to penetrate top tier accounts in Portugal.
  2. Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to cross sell additional products and services to existing customers to optimize account revenue and profitability.
  3. Manage and nurture key customer relationships to ensure maximum satisfaction and retention, fostering long-term strategic partnerships.
  4. Leverage data insights, customer intents, and adoption history to effectively prospect new clients and enhance retention strategies, leading to improved conversion rates in new business pipeline and increased retention and expansion of portuguese existing clients.
  5. Create quarterly territory plans, developing strategies and actionable tactics to increase our market share.

Skills

Required

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • cloud/software B2B / AI sales or solution engineering experience
  • minimum of 4 years of experience
  • proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • navigating complex sales cycles and renewals
  • selling to C-level executives
  • presentation, negotiation, and deal-closing abilities
  • creating and leveraging territory and account plans
  • Salesforce, Outreach, Clari, Seismic and Looker familiarity
  • Native Portuguese, Spanish and English
