This role is for a Senior Commercial Counsel at xAI, focusing on negotiating enterprise agreements and commercial contracts for AI products and services, strategic partnerships, and technology deals. The role involves collaborating with Sales, Business Development, and Product teams to manage complex agreements, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance.

What you'd actually do

  1. Expertly draft, review, and negotiate complex technology agreements.
  2. Collaborate closely with technical, product, sales, finance, and legal team members to establish commercial legal strategies that align with business objectives.
  3. Design legal structures and operations that make it seamless to sell xAI’s incredible products while appropriately mitigating risks.
  4. Be a Swiss Army knife: pitch in with precision for anything needed in the legal department, even if it is unfamiliar.

  • 8+ years of legal experience
