This is a Senior Commercial Growth Account Executive role focused on selling the MongoDB Atlas platform to new logos in India. The role involves full sales cycle management, outbound prospecting, and meeting sales targets. While MongoDB is positioned for the AI era and uses AI tools, this specific role is in sales and not directly building AI/ML models.

What you'd actually do

  1. Cultivate sales through outbound prospecting and inbound leads
  2. Meeting customers in-field and closing deals
  3. Prospect into CTOs, Engineering/IT leaders, and technical end users
  4. Meet and exceed individual monthly, quarterly, and annual New Logo targets
  5. Manage the full sales cycle for both Atlas and Professional Services

Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in full sales cycle field sales/closing experience
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and run a complex sales process
  • Demonstrated history of consistent goal achievement in a highly competitive environment (top 10% performer)
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated success with cold calling and creative pipeline generation strategies

Nice to have

  • Bachelors in Engineering/Bachelor of Technology
  • Familiarity with software, database, infrastructure, or open source technology
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g. MEDDIC, SPIN, Challenger Sales)
  • College degree or equivalent work experience
