Senior Construction Manager responsible for delivering large-scale power infrastructure projects for data center operations, managing schedules, costs, risks, and coordination with stakeholders. Requires strong understanding of construction management fundamentals and experience with mission-critical projects.

What you'd actually do

  1. Review and develop a comprehensive understanding of large-scale power infrastructure projects supporting data center developments. Oversee developer-led construction activities and coordinate with stakeholders to identify and address execution issues that could impact safety, schedule, cost, or quality.
  2. Support and enforce standardized construction management practices for safety, quality, schedule, and cost control, ensuring consistent application across assigned power infrastructure projects.
  3. Review and analyze construction schedules, coordinate sequencing with power developers and contractors, and identify impacts or recovery actions required to maintain critical milestones.
  4. Track construction budgets, commitments, forecasts, and change activity, supporting financial discipline and escalation of cost impacts or trends that could affect approved budgets.
  5. Identify construction-related risks, constructability challenges, and coordination gaps. Proactively escalate issues and potential impacts to leadership to support timely mitigation and informed decision-making.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in power infrastructure construction management supporting large-scale or mission-critical projects
  • Strong understanding of construction and project management fundamentals, including schedule, cost, risk, and quality control
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams and external partners
