Industry Solutions helps Microsoft customers around the world get the best outcomes from their investments in the latest Microsoft cloud technologies. As a Principle Consultant you will be responsible for delivering high quality solutions and business outcomes based on Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities
Demonstrate the ability to articulate value propositions for the most strategic Microsoft products and services and uses business, technology and industry strategies to define customer/partner requirements and constraints
• Demonstrate expertise in a specific solution, or several products, feature functions, or services and drive opportunities to accelerate the adoption of the Microsoft Cloud • Drive and support innovation focusing on industry solutions and customer business outcomes on the Microsoft platform • Ensure solutions align with the intent of the architecture allowing for clear build test specifications and development of operations guides for the customer • Identify business and technical risks in programs, assesses their impact and proposes mitigations and contingencies • Provide stakeholder assistance throughout deployment to avoid/resolve technical issues • Balance Configure-Before-Customize principles with the goals of maximum customer/partner value and with the use of Microsoft core/baseline assets, people, products and tools and develop project plans that use the full project life cycle accounting for current & future business value of each solution while defining all technical dependencies for project
Additional Experience:
A degree or equivalent work experience combined with relevant industry experience in a consulting role. Experience working on multi-phase global implementations is preferred. Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to communicate with a variety of different audiences and strong presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to match technical solutions with customer business requirements. Ability to lead and motivate technical communities. Ability to effectively recognize and adapt to change. Ability to quickly build relationships and credibility with customers. A passion for learning about and experimenting with new technologies. Ability to build trust to drive changes with customers. Collaborate with customers to identify business requirements. Architect and implement innovative solutions using the most recent technologies. Continually learn and grow professionally. Take a leadership role on projects. Mentor other Consultants to share your knowledge and experience.
Ability to travel domestically and internationally and work with diverse cultures and customers.

Qualifications
Need to have a deep technical background with 12+ years of technology-related experience, along with 3+ years of Microsoft Azure (Experience on AWS or GCP will be an added advantage). Require in depth expertise in the following functional areas.
Azure:
Designing and implementing private, public and/or hybrid cloud solutions. Designing, implementing, and securing resources in Azure. Designing and implementing Azure Landing Zones. Designing and implementation of Azure Kubernetes Services Modernizing legacy applications with Azure Cloud Native solutions Migrating workloads from on-prem to cloud or between hyperscale clouds. Knowledge in one or more of the following: Azure PowerShell, CLI, Visual Studio Code, Python, ARM or Terraform. Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Infra-as-Code (IaC).
Identity:
Designing and implementing Hybrid and Cloud Native Identity solutions and using Active Directory and Azure Active Directory. Designing and implementing Azure AD B2B and B2C services. Design and implementing Identity driven Security Solutions.
Security:
Azure Security Services including, Azure Information Protection, Microsoft Defender for cloud and Azure Log Analytics.
We would also expect you to be able to pass the following Certifications in the first 12 months of employment with us, if you do not already hold them:
AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals AZ-104: Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate AZ-305: Azure Solution Architect Expert AZ-700: Microsoft Azure Network Engineer
