We are seeking a Senior Client Consulting Manager, Technology Implementation, to lead technology and digital transformation engagements. This leader will oversee initiatives that solve critical business challenges and unlock new opportunities through IT‑driven solutions. The role requires a versatile strategist and project manager capable of guiding teams, managing complex programs, and delivering high‑impact outcomes aligned with client priorities.
This role supports VCA Implementation Services and contributes to the development of Visa’s implementation capabilities across payments, core banking, and value‑added services. The successful candidate will also help identify and solve client challenges that drive portfolio growth, supporting Visa’s broader ambition to diversify its revenue streams.
**Specific Responsibilities include **
- Lead strategic discussions with clients to identify critical business challenges and opportunities in technology innovation; propose actionable solutions; and define priorities and timelines.
- Develop methodologies, frameworks, and approaches to evaluate clients’ digital and AI maturity, define the target transformational state, and design implementation roadmaps.
- Drive AI‑ and cloud‑powered business growth initiatives; ideate, propose, and implement strategies that increment top‑line performance for the payments business as well as broader group opportunities.
- Manage client inquiries regarding relevant operations and systems, including planning, tracking progress, mitigating risks, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes.
- Lead client engagement activities such as proposal development, contracting, stakeholder alignment, and fact‑based analysis to support actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with global hubs, functional experts, and solution providers to bring specialized knowledge and Visa capabilities into engagements.
- Design and deliver compelling presentations to executive‑level client stakeholders to communicate findings, recommendations, and strategic insights.
_Business Development _
- Build, maintain, and evolve the technology implementation project pipeline, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic priorities.
- Help scale the Technology Implementation practice through service offering structuring.
- Anticipate clients’ needs by continuously researching and testing emerging digital capabilities and ensuring their inclusion in projects.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
**What we'd like from you - **
Proven experience in financial services, payments, consulting, or digital technology.
Proven track record of leading digital transformation initiatives from strategy through execution.
Proven experience in digital technology business development.
Familiarity with platforms and technologies including card issuing and acquiring platforms, Banking‑as‑a‑Service (BaaS), cloud, and AI.
Technology‑driven mindset; digitally savvy and up to date with the latest market and industry innovation trends.
Strong knowledge of agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
Excellent client relationship management skills, with the ability to develop a credible point of view and act as a trusted advisor across a range of industry topics.
Strong executive presence, with excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills, and the ability to engage effectively at all levels of large organizations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external technology and solution partners.
Experience with budget management and reporting.
Business‑level English and French proficiency.
