This role focuses on analyzing content performance and informing content acquisition strategy for Disney's Direct to Consumer (DTC) streaming services (Hulu and Disney+). The Senior Content Strategy Analyst will provide data-driven insights, develop recommendations, and support strategic initiatives. While the role involves leveraging AI tools and automation, its core function is product strategy and analysis within the consumer entertainment domain.

What you'd actually do

  1. Analyze and monitor content performance across Hulu and Disney+ globally, synthesizing metrics into actionable insights that inform content acquisition strategy and programming recommendations
  2. Gather and synthesize information from internal and external sources, producing decks, memos, and presentations for business leaders and cross-functional partners to make informed decisions related to content strategy
  3. Support the development and execution of DTC’s content acquisition strategy by partnering with Content Acquisition Leads to evaluate and prioritize content opportunities
  4. Analyze usage metrics and viewer behaviors driving content consumption, informing deal-related decision-making at both global and regional levels, including market-specific strategies and competitive trend tracking across genres and content types
  5. Develop and improve operational processes and best practices to increase team efficiency and ensure alignment with key business priorities, including the use of automation and AI tools where applicable

Required

  • 3+ years of relevant professional experience
  • consulting, investment banking, strategy, or similarly fast-paced, analytical direct-to-consumer roles
  • Expert proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Exceptional attention to detail
