What you'd actually do

  1. provide senior-level support to Oracle in its compliance journey by helping to design and implement frameworks, policies and processes that will enable the company to meet its obligations under applicable regulations while managing its risk.
  2. partner with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization and serve as a trusted advisor who can drive the changes needed to enable Oracle to achieve its compliance goals.
  3. oversee and shape Oracle’s engagement and relationships with regulators and leading the company’s preparation for, coordination of and response to regulatory oversight.
  4. Responsible for providing legal advice to the organization.
  5. Close liaison to business in providing a variety of corporate and commercial legal services.

Skills

Required

  • 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience
  • Expertise in regulatory frameworks affecting financial services providers (e.g., DORA, UK CTP regime)
  • Experience in dealing with regulators and managing regulatory supervision
  • Experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of the technology sector
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Diligent and attentive to detail
  • Self-motivated, adaptable and commercially minded

Nice to have

  • practicing lawyer with 8-10 years of relevant post-qualification experience gained at a top-tier law firm or in-house legal department
