This role is for a Senior Corporate FP&A Manager at Gong, a company that uses AI to transform revenue teams. The manager will own financial analyses, synthesize data into insights, and provide strategic recommendations. They will also support forecasting the company's operating model and analyzing data for key financial and growth metrics. The ideal candidate is analytical, thrives in unstructured analysis, and can present findings to executives. Experience with Enterprise Software (SaaS) metrics is crucial.

What you'd actually do

  1. Own strategic financial reporting and projects through scenario modeling and ad hoc analysis
  2. Drive constant improvement on financial models to accurately forecast and plan key financial and operational metrics
  3. Provide financial expertise to enable strategic investment decisions by Gong’s executive team
  4. Co-lead the month end review of financials, quarterly forecasting process and annual planning cycle
  5. Partner with broader FP&A and GTM Strategy teams to continuously improve our ability to forecast / understand business trends and enable dynamic decision making on business investments

Skills

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, equity research, or strategy consulting
  • Advanced skills in building scalable financial models (via Excel or Google suite)
  • Vast experience with various financial applications, including ERP, CRM, and financial planning applications (Salesforce, Netsuite, Excel, Pigment etc.)
  • Deep expertise with Enterprise Software (SaaS preferred) metrics, having experience calculating and comparing churn, dollar retention rates, cohort growth rates, customer acquisition cost, gross margin expansion etc.
  • Strong work ethic and analytical proficiency, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to understand strategic impact on the wider business and yet operate at a detailed tactical level
  • Relentlessly curious
  • Self-driven and detail-oriented with an extreme ownership mentality
  • Experience working in a startup environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline
