Senior Cpu Design Verification Engineer

Intel Intel · Semiconductors · Texas, Austin, United States +1

Senior CPU Design Verification Engineer at Intel, responsible for pre-silicon functional verification of complex CPU and SoC logic using SystemVerilog and UVM, ensuring architectural correctness and functional robustness before first silicon.

What you'd actually do

  1. Lead pre‑silicon functional verification of complex CPU and SoC logic to ensure full compliance with architectural and microarchitectural specifications.
  2. Develop and execute verification plans, testbenches, and SystemVerilog/UVM environments, ensuring comprehensive functional and coverage closure.
  3. Define, run, and analyze system‑level simulations to uncover functional, performance, power, and corner‑case issues.
  4. Debug and root‑cause complex RTL, microarchitecture, and integration issues; drive issues to resolution with design teams.
  5. Collaborate cross‑functionally with CPU architects, RTL designers, power/performance teams, and physical design engineers to improve design quality and verification effectiveness.

Skills

Required
