This role sits at the intersection of product development and creative storytelling within Google Search Marketing. The Creative Technologist will bridge the gap between engineers, researchers, and creatives by prototyping and developing novel demos that showcase the capabilities of AI features like generative AI, visual search, and multimodal experiences. The role involves translating complex technology into compelling technical storytelling, identifying new use cases, and executing technical demonstrations for high-visibility events. It requires a blend of technical and creative skills to inspire teams and develop breakthrough creative concepts.

What you'd actually do

  1. Develop novel prototypes and demos for new AI features to showcase capabilities across social media and marketing channels.
  2. Collaborate with engineers, researchers, and creatives to translate complex technical features into accessible, user-centric stories.
  3. Identify and experiment with unique use cases for Google’s AI models, providing feedback to influence the product roadmap.
  4. Execute technical demonstrations for high-visibility real-world moments, including Google I/O and major partner events.
  5. Research emerging trends in AI and machine learning to maintain fluency in new tools and shape our technical storytelling strategy.
