Senior Credit Analyst responsible for evaluating creditworthiness of clients, analyzing financial data, determining credit limits and risk categories, and developing credit scoring models. Role involves risk management, reporting, and collaboration with internal teams.

What you'd actually do

  1. Perform thorough credit evaluations and risk assessments for new and existing customers utilizing financial statements, credit bureaus, and industry trends. Manage large volume, annual portfolio reviews and credit limit assessments efficiently.
  2. Propose appropriate credit limits and risk category based on detailed analysis and risk assessment.
  3. Process adhoc credit change requests on new and existing high-value accounts and work closely with Collections and Commercial Team for required, timely documentation.
  4. Develop and maintain credit scoring models and exposure at default (EAD) assumptions.
  5. Prepare monthly reports such as Credit Limit Edit Report, Payment Terms and Baseline Date Edit Report

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in commercial credit analysis, credit risk management
  • Strong financial statement analysis skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft excel
