This role is for a Senior Customer Business Outcomes Specialist in the Manufacturing & Mobility industry. The primary focus is on driving customer business outcomes through industry expertise and value-focused engagement, helping customers become 'Frontier Organizations' in the age of AI. The role involves uncovering customer needs, quantifying business value, identifying capability gaps, influencing account planning, building executive relationships, and collaborating with account teams to accelerate sales and consumption. It is a customer-facing sales role focused on opportunity creation, pipeline growth, and deal closure by connecting customer value to Microsoft offerings.

What you'd actually do

  1. Enhance account plans through direct customer facing outcome-focused selling and planning based on customer priorities and industry trends that lead to new opportunity creation
  2. Leverage network of industry experts & content to stay informed on trends, competitors, and customer priorities to drive deeper, relevant customer engagement
  3. Engage directly with customers to utilize value engineering, business envisioning, and success planning frameworks to quantify and effectively communicate desired business outcomes
  4. Identify opportunities and gaps based on customer needs and priorities
