This role partners with customers to design, execute, and scale experimentation programs, focusing on A/B testing and advanced experimentation methods. It involves educating customers on best practices, collaborating with internal teams (Sales, Product, Engineering), and translating customer feedback into product improvements. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in statistics and causal inference, with experience in customer-facing or consulting roles.

What you'd actually do

  1. Serve as a technical and analytical partner to customers across pre-sales and post-sales engagements, demonstrating the value of Datadog’s experimentation capabilities
  2. Support proofs of concept by helping customers define metrics, validate data pipelines, and design statistically sound experiments
  3. Educate customers on best practices in experiment design and interpretation across product, marketing, pricing, and AI-driven use cases
  4. Enable long-term customer success by building strong experimentation practices and analytical rigor within their teams
  5. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to translate customer feedback into product improvements and roadmap input
