Boeing Brazil is seeking a Senior Customer Engineer to join the Systems Engineering team, focusing on the Flight Operations (Avionics) environment. The role involves collaborating with various teams to align feature development with company strategies, leading integration of feature strategy, and developing configuration tools. The engineer will use customer knowledge, data analytics, and industry trends to ensure feature offerings provide customer and Boeing value, and communicate feature information to customers and account managers. The goal is to ensure Boeing leads the industry with technical advancements that increase market share and profit.

What you'd actually do

  1. Collaborate with Airplane Development, Product Development and Airplane Programs to align feature development with BCA strategies across the BCA product line.
  2. Lead the integration and alignment of feature strategy development and offerability on all Airplane Programs.
  3. Develop and manage configuration tools, feature strategies and offering structures to enable airplane configuration definition.
  4. Use Customer knowledge, data analytics, regulatory, in-service and production insight and industry trends to ensure feature offerings provide customer and Boeing value, and communicate feature and product offering and significant configuration change information to Customers and Customer Engineering Account Managers.
  5. Provide Programs, Customers and configuration teams with feature strategy, customer and industry knowledge, airplane configuration data, and feature product information.

Skills

Required

  • Engineering degree (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical)
  • CREA registration or eligibility
  • English language proficiency
  • Flight Deck/Operations (Avionics) environment expertise

Nice to have

  • Customer or Supplier facing experience
  • Experience in the development of airplane features

What the JD emphasized

  • Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
  • Must have a degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or other higher technical engineering education).
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.
  • In depth with Flight Deck/Operations (Avionics) environment.
