Senior Cybersecurity Sector Engagement Lead

This role focuses on operationalizing Bank of America's external cybersecurity engagement strategy by building strategic partnerships and enabling cross-sector collaboration to strengthen enterprise and industry resilience. The Senior Cybersecurity Sector Engagement Lead will lead coordination of cybersecurity engagement activities with peer institutions and industry partners to enhance information sharing and collective defense, ensuring alignment between external engagement and internal cybersecurity priorities.

What you'd actually do

  1. Advance external cybersecurity partnerships across industry organizations (e.g., FS ISAC, FSSCC) and trade associations; prioritize engagement based on strategic value, risk reduction, and business impact
  2. Lead engagement with key external stakeholders, including industry groups, and peer financial institutions, to address cybersecurity risks and enhance sector resilience
  3. Drive cross-sector collaboration and information sharing to support collective defense, strengthen situational awareness, and improve coordinated response to cyber threats
  4. Coordinate internal participation across cybersecurity functions (e.g., threat defense, cybercrime, resilience) and ensure effective SME engagement in external activities
  5. Partner across internal stakeholders (technology, cybersecurity, legal, risk, and lines of business) to align external engagement with enterprise priorities and operational objectives
