Senior Data Analysis Engineer, Ad Metrics - Autonomous Vehicles

NVIDIA NVIDIA · Semiconductors · Santa Clara, CA

Senior Data Analysis Engineer role focused on critical metrics for autonomous driving (AD) products. The role involves defining performance, supervising test events, analyzing trends, improving triage efficiency, and automating metric generation for dashboards. It requires strong technical ability, scripting experience, and leadership to support AV software development and release.

What you'd actually do

  1. Work with Product, Engineering, In-car testing team on AD product performance definition, make triage plan, provide performance assessment and release judgments.
  2. Supervise and categorize test events from the scaling test, present spike critical metric trends and top issues with deep analysis.
  3. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define data analysis requirements and process, supervise and improve large scale triage efficiency and quality.
  4. Improve end to end driving policy product/model performance with data quantity, quality and diversity.
  5. Automate product critical metric generation and robust evaluation to represent on the dashboard, provide triage target vision to support critical metric teams to understand the current state of our product/software and make priorities.
