Sr. Data Analyst in Walmart Claim Services will identify the root causes of business challenges and develop technology-driven solutions. This role involves defining key metrics, ensuring data quality, and translating complex business requirements into actionable insights. The position requires expertise in data visualization, exploratory analysis, and data strategy to influence decision-making across business segments.
What you'll do...
- Independently identify, source, and analyze data across multiple systems
- Build dashboards and analytical tools to monitor transportation KPIs and system performance
- Perform advanced analysis using SQL, Python, and statistical methods to uncover trends, risks, and improvement opportunities
- Communicate insights through compelling storytelling, visualizations, and executive-ready analytics that support fast, informed decision-making
What you’ll bring:
- Expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong hands-on data analysis skills, including the ability to independently extract, structure, and analyze data
- Experience building insights from the ground up and delivering clear, actionable recommendations
- Strong communication and presentation skills with executive presence
- Experience using AI to analyze data and generate actionable insights
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and communicate insights clearly to leadership and non-technical audiences
