Senior Data Analyst role focused on primary survey-based market research within Walmart's Data Ventures team. This client-facing position involves leading survey analytics engagements, designing research, owning end-to-end delivery, and acting as an analytics consultant. What you'd actually do

  1. Lead survey analytics engagements: clarify business questions, define the analytical approach, and adapt as inputs change.
  2. Design and advise on primary survey research (sampling, questionnaire input, and advanced methods such as segmentation, MaxDiff, and Conjoint).
  3. Own end-to-end delivery from proposal support and analysis through insights and client-ready outputs.
  4. Set and maintain data quality and analytical standards, including validation and QA aligned to ISO/global processing standards.
  5. Act as a trusted analytics consultant and methods expert, communicating complex findings clearly to influence decisions.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5–6 years of experience in primary survey-based market research, consulting, or a comparable client-facing environment.
  • Hands-on experience with advanced survey analytics (e.g., statistical testing, regression, segmentation, pricing research, and trade-off methods such as MaxDiff and Conjoint).
  • Experience delivering in a client-facing, revenue-generating analytics/research environment, with accountability for quality and timelines.
  • Proficiency in R, Python, SAS, or similar, and ability to produce client-ready narratives and visualizations.

Nice to have

  • Experience improving or formalizing analytical or research processes, standards, or ways of working in evolving or scaling teams.
  • Experience supporting analytics productization or reusable research solutions in partnership with product or technology teams.
