This role provides IT support for data center infrastructure, including secure access workstations, laptops, servers, and audio/visual equipment. Responsibilities include managing inventory, deploying devices, troubleshooting hardware and network issues, and ensuring security compliance for IT assets within Microsoft's global data centers.

What you'd actually do

  1. Providing Tier 2 support for secure devices used by technicians in production space.
  2. Managing, ordering, configuration and deployment of secured devices and storage to new sites
  3. Managing inventory of devices for use by Metro staff
  4. Managing and maintaining digital signage system across metro
  5. Providing general IT support including but not limited to laptops/desktops, device resets, 2FA, network printer fleet, label and rack printers, network issues, desk patching...
