Senior Data Center Technician

This role is for a Senior Data Center Technician in Malaysia. Responsibilities include installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of production server hardware and software, basic troubleshooting, incident triaging, and contributing to process improvements. The role requires experience in a Data Centre environment, a background in Linux, and knowledge of the Data Centre Ecosystem. It involves working in a rotating shift basis, including on-call.

What you'd actually do

  1. Participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all production server hardware and software.
  2. Execute basic troubleshooting along with triaging incoming incidents in support of DC operations.
  3. Maintain strong adherence to processes and contribute to process improvements.
  4. Understand internal customer problems and deliver timely technical solutions.
  5. Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call.
