What you'd actually do

  1. Design and analyze experiments that span multiple Walmart+ journeys, benefits, and channels, partnering closely with the Member Acquisition & New Benefits and Member Engagement & Retention teams.
  2. Build and maintain models such as propensity, churn, and uplift to answer high-impact strategic questions and support critical decisions.
  3. Translate test and model results into clear, actionable recommendations that inform product roadmaps, marketing strategies, and portfolio bets.
  4. Refactor and standardize code and methods into reusable templates, feature sets, or libraries that other data science teams can leverage.
  5. Partner with data engineering and platform teams to improve data pipelines and access patterns needed for fast experimentation and modeling.

Skills

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 3 years' experience in an analytics related field OR Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and 1 years' experience in an analytics related field OR 5 years' experience in an analytics or related field.
